- Simple method: Click Start - Run and copy-paste "REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f" without " and press ENTER. Task Manager will be enabled quickly.
- To understand above process, click Start - Run and type regedit, and then go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies\ System. On the right panel, find a value named DisableTaskMgr and delete. it. After closing regedit windows, Task Manager is re-enabled again.
